Dear PIESS families,

Happy ?ENTÁWEN and Welcome Back! 

As August comes to a close, we hope you’ve had time to rest, connect with loved ones, and enjoy the beauty of the islands we call home. At PIESS, we’re excited to begin a new school year grounded in connection, collaboration, and care. Together with students, families, and our community, we look forward to co-creating a learning environment where everyone feels a strong sense of belonging.

This year, we’re especially focused on empowering students to take an active role in their learning and in our school community—caring for themselves, supporting one another, and contributing meaningfully to the world around them. Through inquiry, reflection, and shared responsibility, students will be encouraged to lead with compassion and purpose.

Our team has been preparing for a year full of meaningful learning and growth, and we’re excited to continue building strong partnerships with families. The school office opens Monday, August 25th. First Day Back: Tuesday, September 2nd

• School starts at 8:45am with early dismissal at 11:55 am
• PAC parents will welcome everyone with refreshments and snacks
• Morning assembly at 9:10am—families are warmly invited
• Students will bring home information packages—please review and return

Bus Schedule:

• 12:01pm – Port Washington run 
• 12:35pm – Magic Lake run & Port Washington dock (Outer Islands)
