Grade 6/7 Science in Action: Igniting Curiosity, Celebrating Discovery!

Do Elephants Enjoy Yeast in Their Toothpaste?
This intriguing question, among many others, was explored by Grade 6/7 students from Salt Spring Elementary, Fernwood Elementary, and Fulford Community Elementary Schools. The three schools gathered at Salt Spring Elementary this week for a Science Fair. The gym was bustling with students and their projects, all eager to share their findings with fellow students, the community, and the judges.
Congratulations to all the students for their hard work over the past few weeks, which highlighted the District Strategic Plan's emphasis on relationships and belonging. A big thank you goes to Kate Richer of Fulford School for leading the organization and to all the Grade 6/7 teachers for guiding their students towards a fantastic celebration of scientific learning.
