Draft Policies in Circulation for Feedback | May 15, 2025
The Board of Education is circulating the following draft policies and welcomes your feedback:
- 5.12 Annual Budget (to replace Policy 605 Annual Budget and Policy 606 Budget Monitoring and Reporting)
- 5.20 Student Fees and Financial Hardship (to replace Policy 6700 Student Financial Assistance and Policy 6750 School Fees - Procedure 6750 would then be repealed in favour of an administrative practice)
- 5.30 Reimbursement of Expenses (to replace Policy and Procedure 6500 Travel Expenses)
- 5.40 Donations and Gifts (to replace Policy and Procedure 630 Education Trust Fund)
- 5.60 School Closure (to replace Policy and Procedure 635 Permanent School Closure)
These policies will be considered for adoption by the Board at its June 11, 2025 meeting in public. Please forward your feedback to corporateservices@sd64.org prior to June 2nd if you would like it included as part of the feedback summary for the Board's consideration at the meeting.
